Bryant 1460 Multi Angle CNC Internal Grinder retro-fitted with Siemens 840D Control, performance positioning card, handwheel and probing capability via Marposs Remote Probe.
Workhead spindle has Jog capability via control, positional accuracy is by Renishaw Rotary Encoder.
The Wheelhead is mounted on Bosch Linear slides with integrated scales, spindle is driven by a compact induction motor integrate into the control, positional accuracy is via the motor encoder and has a power draw bar.
Internal, External and Cam Grinding capability with some Thread & Hob Grinding capability.
This machine has worked only 50 hours since being rebuilt in 2001 and was used in the Aerospace Industry.
